FatCow So I’m trying to decide between FatCow and GoDaddy for my web hosting. I’ve used GoDaddy in the past so it would take a lot to get me to switch. The thing that makes me think about FatCow is their low price for web hosting which is extremly low. However I notice after the first year it spikes up an extra 5 bucks a month and that would be more expensive then what GoDaddy is asking.
So my question is does FatCow offer promo codes like GoDaddy does so that I can keep the price low when it comes to renewals or does FatCow only care about your first year and then your on your own after that?

Normally all web hosting companies increase their fee after the first year. Promo codes are not valid for renewals. Instead you can get a good UK/US hosting companies which have reasonable fees for the first year so that it won’t increase too much in the subsequent years. Or you can go for a monthly pay option so that you don’t have to cough up big amount upfront. Hostgator allow monthly payment.
