FatCow I’m just curious about what others think of it. I have a client who uses it and I find it not to be very user friendly. I prefer FatCow myself but that’s just me. So what do you think of it?

Its awful, don’t be fooled by its commercials, its not user-friendly at all and is way more expensive then it should be. Use something like http://hostgator.com its much much better than godaddy or if you want a free webhoster then use http://x10hosting.com

It is a HUGE commercial entreprise, with HUGE advertising budgets, and the HUGE (and truly biaised) support of Google. Inc., and uses unlawful techniques.
It is, IMHO, the WORST, EVER, place to buy a domain or host any kind of service.
But, hey…
How could the little, decent company in “the-end-of-the-world”, with 50 servers and thre employees compete with them?
They do, actually, by providing a HUMAN service.
I have over 30 websites on a single portuguese hosting service. Never failed. Answers to ANY problem within hours, and, after 10 years with them, finally, met the manager in person!
Try THAT with Google!
go daddy is good for domain names, however my favorite for hosting services is host gator. its a really great value. you get great service for a great cost.

GoDaddy is primary domain registrar company, so it is better to use them for domains. They can offer cheaper domain names than hosting companies.
Example:
COM domain costs $ 9.99 @GoDaddy, while it costs $ 15 @HostGator.
Conclusion: Buy domains @GoDaddy.
HostGator is primary web hosting company. They are specialized at hosting and have really good servers. They can offer cheaper hosting.
Example:
Unlimited hosting for 1 year costs $9.49*12=$113.88 @GoDaddy (if you pay monthly it is $9.99). For hatchling plan @HostGator (unlimitedspace and bandwidth) monthly fee is $8.95. If you pay yearly, it is $5.56*12=$66.72, supposing that you are using coupon SPRING. (total price is $83.4 without coupon). However, if you use 25LESSIN2012, you will get 25% discount and you will pay $5.21*12=$62.55 for a year.
Conclusion: Buy hosting @HostGator.

Godaddy is famous for domain registration purposes but for web hosting I prefer Inmotion Hosting.
I like HostGator, they are much better, let me put it this way, the amount of money that GoDaddy are putting for advertisement, host gator put it for making their hosting better, easier and way better. so yeah I will not take them for hosting. here is some coupons for hostgator if you decided to go with them.

I completely agree with user “Just JR”. They are, unfortunately, like many hosts that have gotten too big and are not so commercial that they really forget about what good hosting truly means. If you look at any affiliate site or “best hosting” sites…ALL of those hosts are paying to be on there. It’s hard to trust which is best when they pay for their top spots. (there are many affiliate on here answering this question too, giving you promo codes).
